Even if you have finally decided that you will devote your life to STEM sciences, your inner artist might require their realization. All you need to do is to look into the student club of KNURE.
What is a student club?
Officially, it is the cultural center of our university, which works in the field of aesthetic and ethical education of students. To simply describe - this is the main bastion of creativity at the university. Here you can find groups to your taste and preferences: from dance and vocal studios to a circus studio and theater.
What groups are included in the student club?
The choice, indeed, is huge. For each of the creative directions, student club can offer several worthy teams.
Want to sing? Welcome to the Millennium Choir and the Galatea Theater of Song and Dance.
Do you want to dance? There’s already a whole list: the show-ballet "Puma", the ballroom dance groups "Flowers" and "Electron", the team of the modern sports dance "Masquerade" and the pop dance - "Stozhary".
Do you want to participate in something unusual? Then you should pay a visit to the circus team "Neposedy" or think about participating in a vocal-instrumental band.
Everyone was impressed with your acting skills back in school? It’s good that the student club has an "Esc" theater.
How to get into the selected student team?
Each team, of course, has its own schedule and "habitat" and, if you are ready to join the team, be sure to check in with Alexandra Sergeyevna Murashko, the director of the student club.
She will answer all your questions about creative groups and tell you where and when rehearsals take place. Then all you need to do is to come and amaze everyone with your talent and enthusiasm!
What are the benefits of participating in the creative teams of KNURE?
In addition to the possibility of realizing creative potential and simple aesthetic pleasure, participation in a student club will provide participation in competitions and performances.
It is worth mentioning that the creative teams of our university not only regularly participate, but also win high-level contests.
Also, groups are often invited to major city events.
Perhaps ones of the most pleasant bonuses are prizes. Students who are taking part in performances and competitions will definitely receive monetary bonuses for their efforts.
For those who feel that mathematics and high technology are far from the only hobbies in their life, the KNURE student club will be a great place to remind yourself: "I'm not just a techie, I'm an artist."
